This guesthouse in Tuscany is in fact located in a medieval building nestled among the other houses that line the ancient walls of Civitella Marittima. This is believed to have once been the ancient "cassero" or donjon of the castle. The rooms have been recently renovated with great attention to detail so as to respect the style of the traditional Tuscan architecture, with beamed ceilings and brick and stone walls, and the rustic décor of the interiors. At La Locanda nel Cassero guests will really experience history thanks to the many evident traces of the building’s centuries-old history, and the slow rhythms of the village which have stayed the same over the years.
